Why not ... ... when needed, just holler. When I was told about monthly interviews over at Admin's Retreat, I though Valderra has an axcellent idea. I waited about 3 weeks, I think, mulling over the idea from time to time and watching to see if she was going to start doing them again. I didn't see any signs of it, so I figured "Why not? It's not like interviewing is a new idea.". Now I am positive that we can come up with some really interesting interviews if we tried, the problem is that I never went to school for jounalism or held jobs which demanded good interview skills. My extent of interviewing knowledge comes from magazines and shows like The Tonight Show. The one problem is that most interviews involve an element of asking about people's personal lives and I'm not very comfortable with that. If the people we interview here were public figures, i.e. celebrities, that would be a little bit different... but they aren't, the people being interviewed are private citizens who have personal secuity issues to consider. Additionally the people interviewed here don't exactly have thousands of bits of information about them splattereed all over the net. So it's kind of a hit and miss process that sometimes can seem like an intrusion upon their personal, private lives. So any help people can give would be great, it would help give assistance it finding a good set of questions to ask... as well as helping to turn a raw interview into an interesting article to read.

The questions you used for me seem to be the perfect questions, but I know what you mean. It's like having to come up with quetions every month for the Hot Seat at B&C. You may want to look over some of the questions that have been asked lately over there. Some of them would translate well to what you need them for.
A for the help in editing anf what not, you need to ask one of the people that own the writing forums! LOL!

LOL Dianne, Yeah push it off one the writers. LoL That sort of reminds me of the older brother who would get the younger brother to do everything that the older one was supposed to do. Been there, done that... ended up with a pregnant dog over it. LOL On the serious side, The best interviews would probably be due to a concensus of input concerning what we'd like to know versus what we would feel comfortable with in telling about ourselves. People who are writers, or aspiring writers, would probably make the best ones for writing up such interviews.
