The Letterboxer's Hangout is a forum dedicated to the recreational hobby of letterboxing. Letterboxing is like a cousin of geocaching, if you know what that is. Letterboxing is basically a huge treasure hunt where people carve their own stamps and place them in plastic containers along with logbooks. These containers are "planted" all over the place, many times in parks and places like that. But they can also be planted in urban locations. A letterboxer also carves their own signiture stamp, and then when they go to look for boxes using clues from the internet, they stamp their image in the box's logbook and collect the box's stamp in their own book. At The Letterboxer's Hangout, you can talk about all the different aspects of letterboxing, find clues, and also talk about the different tools and methods used. A popular new aspect of letterboxing is letterbox trading cards, or LTCs. These are basically the same as Artist Trading Cards, or ATCs except LTCs must include a handcarved stamp. If this interests you at all, I hope you will take a look at my forum and learn more about this great hobby! Thanks for your time! Lilac Butterfly
